UNIVERSITY

YCA designed new market-rate student housing one block from the UC Berkeley Campus. The hyper-efficient, modern development features a study room and lounge, secure bike storage, roof deck with BBQ area, a package room, and personal storage.

The Project

Designed for off-site modular construction, the project was connected and managed by the Collabhome.io platform. Set on a midblock lot with no parking, the development received a density bonus as an SB330 project. Electrified with 100% renewable energy, the project meets UC Berkeley’s sustainable housing requirements.
